Just curious.

Who is your personal Little Black Dress of fandom?

Who can you/will you/would you slash with anyone?

It doesn't have to be someone that you can write- my personal LBDs would probably be the Marquis de Carabas and Crowley, and I haven't written Crowley with anyone other than Aziraphael, nor the Marquis with anyone other than Richard. And that was a drabble, and therefore *really* doesn't count. *g*

Sirius. Sirius is so easy to write with ... everyone. James, Regulus, Remus, Lily, OCs, Dumbledore ... *cough* La la la. *skips back to f-page*

Draco.

And King Arthur. Not my personal one, but the one according to legends. He just had too many fanboys for me not to.

Arthur and Lancelot. Between them they pretty much cover the court. And who they don't get, Mordred does.

Lupin. He's sex from all angles. It's great to shift perspectives by changing his partner, the interactions vary and his role is always a bit different. Too I think I just like seeing people screw a werewolf, and reading what they think about that.

My favorite three angles are Snape, Black, and Lockhart, but sadly the fandom is wanting for the third.

Aah, Snape/Lupin. Always good.

But yes, Lupin is good with anyone... though I admit I'd never considered Lockhart. Probably because I think of Lockhart's One True Love being a mirror...

Ah, but in love with his own reflection as he is, does he shut himself up in the bathroom? No. He has to have attention. He wants to fawned on, wants people to love him, he's a little Broadway starlet who's sick for the limelight. I'm surprised nobody bothers exploring his psyche, there's all sorts of fun to be had with that.

Very high-maintenance and selfish as a lover, I think. Imagine Lupin dealing with that. God how funny.

I... have sudden Hagrid/Lockheart visuals. I mean, who better than Hagrid to deal with high maintenance? Oh, dear. I'm a bad person.

Ade. Duh.

Actually, probably Lestat, because he'll sleep with anything that moves if he finds them interesting enough.

Hee! Yes, Adrian does rather get around, doesn't he?

Lestat? As in Anne Rice-ness?

Her attitudes towards fanfic bug me inordinately. So I do not read the books.

Lestat as in Anne Rice, yes.

Oh, I just read the books and then decided to completely ignore her attitudes towards fanfiction. Lestat is too good a character to waste.

They're very good. Don't read past the first three, though, because after that they become crap.

Gackt. But I guess that's more real life than fandom.

Oh, Squall, Cloud, Sephiroth, Vincent and Irvine from Final Fantasy 7 and FF8 need to be slashed at every possible moment.

I agree with you on the Marquis - he's just a big, panfandom manho, really. And within Pirates-verse, I don't think there's anyone you couldn't slash Jack Sparrow with.

I gotta go with The Boy Who Lived (and fucked), he can be such a flithy little slut...hence, why I luff him so!

I'll read him paired with basically anyone but Hermione, and even that has its exceptions, hee!

Interesting question. I prefer "One True Character" myself rather than LBD. I've got one in every fandom. Snape in HP (of course), Boromir in LOTR (ok, fine, I did write some Grima Wormtongue but that was more like a side effect of my Snape fixation), McCoy in Star Trek TOS (Kirk/Spock is cool, of course but Spock/McCoy or Kirk/Spock/McCoy really gets me going) and Lex in Smallville. I've never really had OTPs it's all about the OTCs with me.

Can't resist a plug :-p

The first one is here (http://www.mimine.ezhoster.com/fearanddesire.html)

and the second one here (http://www.mimine.ezhoster.com/entertainment.html) Be careful with the second one, it contains incest of the Boromir/Faramir variety (the best)

Sirius Black; love him or hate him, few people are indifferent to him, which makes for sparks. Ditto Snape.

My other LBD is Faramir, for whom the above logic doesn't work at all. Hmmm.
