nnyI had said that I would be here last night, but something came up- an interesting idea that I'm very excited about participating in.
It's an event that has taken place the past few years in an area of Cardiff called Adamsdown; a week-long arts festival with workshops for the local kids. Basically it's aimed at keeping them out of trouble, because it's not the nicest area of the city.

faith_rayne (AKA Smaller, my new flatmate) were thinking of organising a workshop based around storytelling, possibly in collaberation with an artist- for younger children, with stories and then drawings from the stories or some such.
We were thinking of either basing it on traditional Welsh tales or coming up with something slightly more original- I've been bunnied terribly with an idea for a retelling of Blackbeard, but I'm pretty sure it's entirely too bloodthirsty for younger kids. Then again, maybe not...
Anyway- my apologies for not talking to those I said I would. I was drinking wine and talking to hippies. My life seems to involve that an awful lot, of late.
