I despair of... everything, at the moment. Cinemas filled with sequels, and a thousand and one remixes on the radio... and only five songs. Clothes styled on the seventies, the eighties (and fucking hell, people, it was bad enough the first time. Why bring it back?)

In Europe, you can't move without going down into history.
Here, all is a beginning.

Yeah, we have history. But recent history, history that hasn't even had the chance to be printed into history books and saved and sealed as an illustration of our age- why do we have to relive it so soon? Friends Reunited. A thousand people trying to relive their youth, dumping spouses and families in an attempt to recapture something that seemed like the world when they were fourteen.

Thunderbirds movie. Star Wars on DVD. Comebacks from bands we never missed.

I need something else, something new. I don't know what I'm looking for, but it's not reruns of old TV shows.

Shit.

I'm not impressed with the new millenium.

True. There is a lot of things we never liked in the first place coming back. Like fashions. But on the other hand, the internet gives access to lots of other things too.

Yo, Nny. ^^

Yo, kid, lunch hour almost up or I'd bug you. *g*

I know. I do, really, and there's a lot of cool stuff I'm coming across lately, old stuff, stuff I should have read a million years ago. I just feel like... I'm gonna be ashamed to say that this was my era. My kids, should I ever have any, will associate this shit with me. It's depressing.

Hehe. Bug me later, I might still be unadvisably online. <3

Well, think about all the crap we associate with the 70s and 80s. I think they got kind of gypped. *g* At least we have some redeeming features. Particularly the 90s, but the COMPUTER age. Woo! Though we are going to go down as the age of military cock-ups and dumbass right-wing leaders. *wince*

Well nobody saw that anyway.
