Okay, unfortunately the summaries took SO MUCH LONGER than I expected that there is now no time to drabble. HOWEVER. I have no uni tomorrow and shall therefore be here all tonight. And will drabble. And RP. Hurrah!

In the meantime, a meme.

Name a CD you own that no one else on your friends list does:

Big Rude Jake: Big Rude Jake.

Random big-band swing which is absolutely ace. If anyone wants a copy and would be willing to pimp something at me in return, let me know.

Name a book you own that no one else on your friends list does:

The Pornographer's Poem: Michael Turner.

WHY does no one on my f-list have this? It seems so very odd, considering how slashtastic most of the people I know are. It's a damned good book, written in a unique way. Michael Turner never fails to interest me, and I really wish I had more of his stuff.

Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no one else on your friends list does:

The Year My Voice Broke. Which I haven't actually watched, yet. My mate MightyTom gave it to me for my birthday last year.

Out of curiosity, does anyone own Beautiful Thing? Sweet British gay love story. I should really bring that back to Wales next time I'm home.

Name a place that you have visited that no one else on your friends list has:

Sandwich.

I know I've watched it on video or DVD - I think I bought it at the gay book shop here in Munich. I wonder why I don't at this moment actually have it. I might have lent it to [livejournal.com profile] japanologist. Unless he bought it, and I just was along, and we watched it at my place first? Hmmm. Must investigate.-

Oh, Beautiful Thing! <3s

I want to own that. I rented it years ago and freaked out this idiot girl my boyfriend knew with it because I didn't tell them it was a gay love story, and she made us quit watching. Moron. But I loved it anyway.

Big Band Swing!!! <3 I have been obsessed for *years* Is that band good? I am a huge fan of Brian Setzer because they cover so much good stuff, but nothing beats the original stuff <3

*Waves hand* I have "Beautiful Thing"!

I like it mainly because I love Mama Cass's music, but it's a nice movie too.

I actually like "Get Real" Better. Anyone got that?

Ooooh, I love swing. I'd love a copy of Big Rude Jake, but have no idea what to offer you in return. Suggestions?
