It doesn't really have anything to do with the Bush administration, though I'd imagine they secretly know how much people despise him. It has to do with some dillweed on LJ reporting an idle and obviously non-serious comment to the FBI. Once it's been reported, they're pretty much required to investigate, no matter who the president is at the time.

So, scary and no doubt intimidating, but not really an issue specifically attached to the obnoxious evil that is The Shrub. =)
