Nov. 6th, 2004 08:29 amMarvellous conversation earlier today, about how Piglet and Pooh were lovers. And Eeyore was clearly depressed by Piglet's tossing him aside for Pooh, and had therefore turned to alcoholism. And Rabbit was Roo's father, which somewhat explained the fact that he disapproved of Tigger quite so much- Tigger and Roo always did get on rather well. And then there were memories of Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day, and Piglet on a string, and... it went rather downhill from there. Conversational gems also involved incest, moles, moles' morals, and whether or not getting turned on by mole!sex is a wrong and immoral thing. (We both read Duncton Wood during puberty, apparently). Then that naturally led to talk of the animals of farthing wood, and I think we probably would have covered the Wind in the Willows as well, had we not been distracted by shiny things. Hobbit is an ace boy. *g*
Incidentally, would sparkling water not be a million times better if it was called *sparkly* water? Just a thought.

Date: 2004-11-06 09:24 am (UTC)And the best part of all was when we were discussing Pooh porn and walked past a nursery. And painted on the window was a little picture of Piglet giving Pooh a flower. *g*

Date: 2004-11-06 09:52 am (UTC)I suspect there's a reason they don't make water with glitter in, but since people smoke which will kill 'em... sparkly water more fun than smoking, surely?

I think I was born with some small but vital part of my brain missing, meaning that I can read and thoroughly enjoy smut but not produce it without sounding artsy and euphemistic and/or incredibly silly.
