Harrowing RP but new icon. So on balance, I guess I'm good.

I am, however, tired again, despite having only got up about ten hours ago after SO MUCH SLEEP OMG!

I have to do coursework today. I also have to go to work. I'm not sure how these two are quite going to work out, but we shall see. I'm sure there're enough hours in the day for me to work, coursework it right up oh yeah, and go quietly mad. So that's all for the best really, isn't it?

Hmm. Odd mood and I'm not sure quite why yet. Any further developments and I'll let you know.

Also, something that I've remembered tonight:

This is one of the best feelings in the world.

You're walking down the crowded high street on a weekend, and your best friend is yelling at you. He looks absolutely furious because you made an offhand remark about how terrible the B-52s are and it has evolved into a full-blown argument about the aesthetics of music, and whether it's more important that something is clever or pretty, and whether you can respect a band and what they do without liking them, and whether you can like them without respecting them. The remark you made about how if you liked Justin Timberlake you'd rather listen to that than something unbelievably sophisticated and influential that made your ears hurt appears to have made him furious.

And you turn to face him, meet full-on the anger in his expression, and you start to laugh. Because you know, without the slightest doubt, that no matter how angry he is at this second, no matter how much he disagrees with you, he will come out of this still loving you. And that feels amazing.
