Nov. 22nd, 2004 08:43 amONE MORE. I promise. Really. One more, and I'm done.
What's a line from a film that you've ALWAYS wanted an excuse to use? Something you'd never say but DAMN do you want to.
Personally I'm quite fond of "I love the way your foul little mind works": Jafar to Iago, in Aladdin. I'm always too scared of giving offense...

cos Iago is a bird and we can't have a Disney film without at least one pun.
^_^
I like Kevin Spacey's line American Beauty.
"It is the car I have always wanted, and now I have it. I rule."

-Ocean's Eleven
Is a phrase that I really, truly love, from a movie I really, truly love but an actual line...
"Well, people say that, ma'am. But with all due respect, I'm not the one hanging off the back of a ship" Jack, in the Titanic

Then again, I have used the Hamlet version, but only in a text message. I'd feel too poncy actually saying it to someone!

(Okay, so it was suggested... somewhere... by some of my friends to make a matching set of t-shirts. One should say "I'm not a pirate, I'm a ninja!" and the other should say "I'm not a ninja, I'm a pirate!" We figured you could get really cute cartoon-y drawings to go with, too. And I would so totally buy out the stock of "I'm a pirate!" tshirts...)

Date: 2004-11-22 10:30 pm (UTC)(Making out with a woman expertly costumed as the Statue of Liberty in public, while wearing a Lib/Jus OTP! shirt, and receiving a disapproving look from a pudgy, unshaven friend of mine:) "What? It's not like cheating. Justice blew up." (Insert re-election joke here... Oh god, I just told a slasher crew to "Insert." *runs*)
All hail Jay & Silent Bob!
