I? Am a huge idiot.

I got everything done, coursework-wise. I printed it out at five o'clock this morning, no less. I went home, took a nap... and woke up twenty minutes after it was due in.

Fuck.

It's been handed in, with a note saying it was late. They'll still mark it, right?

Grr, so angry with myself.

Gonna go read the [livejournal.com profile] milliways_bar comedy on [livejournal.com profile] muffinbutt's journal to cheer meself up.

OH NO! *facepalm*

Ah, well, what's done is done, right?

And yeah, when Josie undeletes, you should so read it. We are SO SO BAD.

lmao I already read it once. I wanted to read it again, but I suppose I shall survive in its absence. How's the essay coming, love?

Not bad, surprisingly! I have three of the five 300-word essays done. So I shall do one more this morning, go to my museum lunch, and do the other this afternoon.

I even got a little carried away and wrote more than I needed to on discuss three different examples of legislation governing a museum’s acquisition and ownership of certain types of cultural and natural materials. Am such a nerd. :P

...three hundred word essays?

Yeah. She gave us a list of seven questions; grad students have to write on five of them, undergrads on four. Much better than the midterm, which had us writing that many 500-word essays. In any case, I find this sort of thing infinitely preferable to one big 1500-word essay.

I HAD TO DO THREE 1500 AND ONE 2500!

Not that I'm bitter.

Oh no.

Now I just have the exams to look forward to.

Well, if it makes you feel (which, hee, I just wrote as "fell") any better, I turned in a 4,200-word one yesterday. :D

The bulk of my work was earlier in the semester, thank goodness.

*squeeshes*

Man. I can't write for 4200 words about ANYTHING! It is IMPOSSIBLE! I don't have the attention span for that.

*laughs* Neither do I, in general. But I wrote a lot more than that for my senior paper, amazingly, and I suppose I'll have to REALLY suck it up for my Master's thesis, which should be...rather lengthy. *fears* I think the trick is just picking a topic you find fascinating. Ghost stories, here I come!

Oh, hon. I'm sure it'll be fine. *hugs* Worse comes to worst, they'll take off some points for it being turned in late, but at least in my experience, the professors want the papers in and to give you a grade.

*hugs*

*fears of what y'all did in Josie's journal*

*snickers* Josie and I decided that Alan Tudyk, the redheaded from Knight's Tale, would make a good Bernard, so we went in search of icon-able pics. Of course, who's in that movie, too? Paul Bettany. And also? Laura Fraser.

We wrote some captions to a few choice pics. :D
