fanficrants bothers me in much the same way that bad_rpers_suck, customerssuck, and Fandom Wank (among others) do: it relies very, very heavily on "I'm right and you're stupid" as an argument.

Pay it no attention. I have no idea what compels the people who post there to do so, but I feel very sorry for them at times, if only because of their inability to come up with a better rhetorical strategy than "I'm right and you're stupid".
