Nah, I don't know anyone called Kotopaxi. One of my friends at secondary school decided she was going to name her kids after volcanoes. Kotopaxi, Paricutin, and Popacatapetl. (I think it was that, anyway; can't be arsed to check it).

Earlier me and the Ferret decided the best names ever'd be Astroturf and Reebok.

I have a German friend who called her daughter Nike, and with Husband we reflected that the poor child would be in real trouble in France.

I you pronounce it the English way, everyone would just laugh.

I you pronounce it the - Greek? German? I don't know actually - way (Neekay), well. It means "Fucked", in French slang. Ouch.
