Three random facts about me:

1) On my fridge, in magnetic letters, it currently says 'you amiable people'

2) I collect random guitar plecs. I have never bought one, but have found them in fields, in banks, in and outside clubs, in dry cleaners. I've also been given them. They're ace. I don't play guitar.

3) The first music I ever bought was the single 'hold me thrill me kiss me kill me' by U2. This was closely followed by the Batman Forever soundtrack, which started a love of the offspring which lasted entirely too long.

Please to be responding with three random facts?

*please face*

1) I'm a Graphic Design HND Student (thinking of applying to London School of Arts for my BA next year) and I never took Art in High School. I gave it up in 2nd year.

2) iTunes says I have somewhere in the vicinity of 4,600 mp3s. 13 days' worth of music. I probably don't even listen to 1/5th of it.

3) I have an addiction to spending money. Normally on ridiculous things like blank notebooks :) I have a small collection.

I not only have a collection of blank notebooks, I can't actually use them. I, for some bizarre reason, think that using a notebook for the first time should be an event, especially if it's pretty. Paper is important.

Apparently I'm a gunslinger. o.O

Oh, I'm the same. If I'm going to write on anything (except my diary, which has been well and truly broken it; two years old, huzzah) I buy a pack of refill paper and a ringbind folder thing.

That way? I don't need to use the pretty notebooks!

Buffy speak exqueezed. I haven't watched/read it recently enough. I miss my DVDs.

Bah, humbug.

'"we are made from bits of stars! We are made from bits of stars!" you kept yelling, and went through it all: super novae scattering heavy atoms; the debris swirling through space, other novae and supers sending shock waves through the debris, compressing it; stars forming, planets; geology, chemistry; life.'

I love shoes.

Not that I can afford them, of course, but if there were going to be one thing I would go overboard for, I suspect it'd be shoes. Especially slightly square-toed ones. The kind that make your feet look stubby.

1) Goo Goo Dolls, Live in Buffalo, July 4, 2004. The concert was free, and also all of I think two blocks from my house, and I love the Goo Goo Dolls, so when I found out about it I went "oh hell yes" and went, and then found out later about it. It was awesome.

:D!

I go to my dad's at Thanksgiving and Christmas, since family up here doesn't celebrate it, and this year they didn't get the tickets early enough so my dad was road-tripping to come get me. He got up here okay, but didn't think it'd be safe to go back down because the roads were crap, so one night we decided to go to a Club Sort Of Thing, and as we crossed the street to get there I went from 16 to 18. *nods sagely*

1.) I used to be an artist. I painted nearly every day of my life from preschool through high school. My grandmothers spent a small fortune sending me to expensive art schools and I loved every minute of it. My last day of high school was the last day I painted. I've not made a thing since then. One of the hardest things I've ever done was to give up calling myself an artist.

2.) I'm obsessed with cats. They are my children. I'm far more devoted to them than I am to most people.

3.) I secretly think that most people are insane and giggle at them in my head a lot.

1) My fingers are absurdly long. Also spindly. My knuckles are sort of big and so rings that fit over them are invariably too big when they get to where they're supposed to be. Advantageous for piano-playing, but rather spider-like on the whole.

2) Freakish talent: I can identify most celebrity voice-overs within seconds.

3) My favorite t-shirt is actually a kid's shirt that I bought on vacation two years ago. It's gray and has a silhouette of a witch on a broom against the moon, and says "SALEM, MA: A BEWITCHINGLY GOOD TIME."

1) I have really small hands and feet for my height. Seriously. I'm 162cm tall, just under 5'5, and my feet are size 4-6. Mzkes finding good shoes damn near impossible, and standing up for over an hour mildly painful.
2) My first, and longest lasting childish wish, is to be a fairy. Seriously. To be all small and dainty and pretty and have gorgeous butterfly wings.
3) My pre-school teacher was Irish. I copied her accent. When I was four, with my read curly hair and Irish accent, I seemed utterly, utterly Irish.

...and I still have the accent. Kinda. Enough that people will stop me and ask me when I moved to Australia.

1) I have diagnosed myself with having some small form of OCD. I did this because i have to have things in alphabetical order, it drives me mad if any of my movie cases or book covers are best--even a little, or if books are written in or if the spine is creased, I can have the floor of my room covered in papers and clothes, but I can't have my Bookshelf out of order, and I arrange my books first by size, then by author's last name.

2) I have no arches in my feet. They are completely flat. Standing on my feet for long periods of time will KILL me. And because of this flat-footedness, I cannot join the army. For great yay!

3) If I could have one power it would be to fly. I've wanted that more than anything since I can remember. I like to swim to the bottom of pools and flot up because it is so weightless. Wingsmut does not help with this want.

1. I have a birthmark on my back that looks enough like a scar that several people still believe I was shot as a child.

2. I am female - but generally considered more attractive when I dress up and act a man. *headdesks*

1. I do not, nor have I ever, known what my Actual Complete Legal Name is. Since I've grown up with so many nicknames and interpretations, and it also got changed when I was around 12 ... I don't have any idea what my birth certificate says.

2. [livejournal.com profile] tennemouse called me the most religious atheist she'd ever met, and even though I loathe the practice of religion due to its issues with peacekeeping, I was oddly complimented.

3. My hair is suffering from depression. It was curly and red until I was nine years old and we moved to this place. It got depressed, and is now straight and black. Sometimes, when we go back to the farm, it starts lightening again and gets curlier.

2. There's a three-foot-long cardboard cutout of the Pink Panther propped up over our dining room door, flanked by two little winged gargoyles.

3. I was a late bloomer: I got into the neighborhood pool for under 12 until I was eighteen.

That's about as random as I can manage-- but then I'm a fairly random person so how do I know?
