In other news, oh I want to make a post on RP, but I am a mod, and therefore not allowed. I wish my word wasn't important. It sure as hell shouldn't be. XD

I also want a Gaiman fic community. Or maybe a Pterry and Gneil fic comm. So Discworld, Neverwhere, American Gods, Good Omens, Johnny Maxwell, and any combination thereof. Maybe something to think about when I get regular access again.

I thought that was sandman oriented only, or I would've joined already. I, sadly, have read no sandman. I saw them in Gosh Comics in London, and I thought "no! I will not buy the first. Because then I will need the rest, and I cannot afford another obsession." So instead I bought the first Aubrey-Maturin by Patrick O'Brian.

Firstly, congrats on your degree! :)

Also, I second the pimp of dream_trade. The mod rocks and everyone is pretty friendly; it's still fairly new and a little slow, but it's well-run and has a pretty layout and good fic and art and I think it has the potential to be a really great comm. Well, it already is a really great comm, but it has the potential to eventually be a really big busy great one ;)

And, in case you haven't seen me promote this all over every post I've made, I'm doing a Gaiman Fan Fiction Open (http://www.livejournal.com/users/tea_and_snark/75287.html) on my journal. It's only a giant thread of requests and responses, not a community, but if you're looking for specific fics or just interesting prompts, come on over. Basically, you can leave a prompt if you want to, following the guide (character(s), three words and an object), and you can also write stories in answer to prompts left by others, even if that prompt already has a response or two. I'm spreading the word ;)
