So is it wrong that I don't wanna bother earning that last twenty quid, and I don't want to bother pretending I care about other people's trousers, and I don't want to bother making nice with the woman who's fired me twice, and I'd rather go to bed than go to my last day of work?

Sounds just about perfect to me.

I'd vote for sleep and sweet, sweet dreams. You deserve them.

You know how I feel about Charlie.

Selfishly, when I heard you lost your job this little part of me went... All right! More time for playing!

Tell me that's not so wrong. Because it makes perfect sense to me.

Oh, if ONLY. No. Now I have to find a PROPER job. With the, y'know, full time-itude.

Personally I think that if you're FIRED it sort of removes any obligation you have towards the company, effective the instant it happens. Then again, this is advice from someone who's only ever been fired by a 4-year-old...

I was a nanny. About two... three months ago. It was a truly magnificent failure. The child was demonic, though I blame that on the fact that she's being raised by five different nannies -- one for each day of the week. She really only sees her mother for the hour it takes in the morning to dress her for preschool, and only sees her father (the head of the city council) on television. Sad, really. And I have no real training in childcare.

...Okay. Having a child in a situation like that is irresponsible.

Agreed. Unfortunately, it's not my say. I'm just the one with the funny hats.
