Jul. 18th, 2005 10:15 pmI shouldn't be this hot, and itchy. I think I have a temperature, and my cough's getting worse, and my head hurts. Dizziness is fading, though! Aah what to do, what to do.
I should go home, but I was never sensible.
*grins*
Distracty, please?

Date: 2005-07-18 02:58 pm (UTC)*cuddles you, meanwhile, with more tea*
*possibly needs a tea icon at this point*
Oh, that's another thing-- I can make you icons, if you want. *eyes stack of icons twenty-some deep for character who hasn't even been apped yet*
I did the drabble challenge on, what was it, Thursday. I'm ignoring the stack I still have to get through, because they keep... not being drabbles. I think they're averaging out to about 450 words, although some of that is cos the one was 1275... um. *clears throat* Anyway.
I can write Milliways, Narnia, Song of the Lioness, the Chrestomanci Quartet (although not the fifth one that's apparently come out), assorted Gaiman (or at least try), Firefly, Dark Tower, or if nothing else I can link you to all the stories I've actually got written so far... um. Yes. *is lame* They're all up at m'writing journal,

Date: 2005-07-18 02:55 pm (UTC)He sneezed as Aziraphael fluffed his pillows.
Sniffled and snorted as Aziraphael made his way around the flat, watering the plants that Crowley was too ill to talk to; he took the day-old bread down to the pond to feed the ducks, and when he returned, Crowley complained (not that he'd used bread that wasn't mouldy); he simply complained that he'd gone on his own, without him.
Aziraphael merely smiled, and made him a cup of apple tea.
I apologise for this. At least it will distract you.

Date: 2005-07-19 02:04 pm (UTC)You're very welcome. I came across some even weirder things looking for the pictures. Getty Images is a weird and wonderful place.

Date: 2005-07-18 03:17 pm (UTC)When Aziraphael would go down to the shop, Crowley would pull himself out of bed and make his own rounds. He would tell the plants what they really needed to hear. "If you don't shape up it'll be the compost heap for you," and "Don't listen to that angel, your leaves are horrid. Better look into that, especially if you like living here."
He was making his rounds when he heard someone coming up the stairs. He dashed for the bed (he would never admit that he enjoyed being taken care of) and tripped on his own feet. You never really notice how mice wood flooring is until it's right against your face.
Aziraphael walked in and saw him lying on the floor. He didn't say anything but set about unloading the groceries (he liked to appear normal once in awhile. besides, the young family that runs the corner store really does need the money) he had just purchased.
"That's what you get for torturing those poor plants," he said after a moment.
"Oh, shut up." He paused for a long moment. "Come help me up will you. My face hurts."
------
It's nothing special and in all probability, it's utter rubbish, but I hope you like it.

Date: 2005-07-18 03:22 pm (UTC)I love the image of Crowley's disgruntled expression that's aimed at the floor.
