I just fell over on my way home from school and scraped all the skin off my hands and knees. I have a big blood stain on one sock, now, and I'm trying to find a plaster big enough.

It's kind of tragic that I'm 27, isn't it?

If it's any comfort, I just got back from a local supermarket where I managed to skid/slide one heel forwards until I fell over. Right in front of the store manager. And I'm 33...

I recently knocked myself out on a bathroom door (I tried to open the door, my foot got in the way and blocked the door, I tried to walk in anyways. Ow.) And I won't tell you about my mum.

It never ends, dude. Clumsy is for life, I am afraid.

Ouch!

In the spirit of misery liking company, I fell off my bike not once but twice this winter. And I nearly landed on my butt last night while walking. (So ready for this winter to end...)

I did that going to class once: fell down a concrete hill. I persevered and went to class with blood running down my shin and my hands dirty and cut. Later, I found out I'd broken my ankle as well.

I felt rather stupid, especially about the ankle thing. How on earth do you break your ankle and not know it?!

I broke my toe a year or so ago, took three months to notice. Actually, I didn't notice, my mother did. "What the fuck is wrong with that toe!" Whatever, I hate looking down.

Ouch! It hurts so much more when you're a grown up, doesn't it? Either that or children are way braver than I give them credit for.

Look on the bright side - when you fall over you probably don't get a kg Labrador in your lap going "Hi! Hi! Why are you down here? This is exciting! *slurp*"

If it makes you feel better I do stuff like that all the time and I'm almost 27. Yesterday I accidentally bashed my hand into an interior wall in my house and split a knuckle D:

Also, I have a baseball-sized bruise on my leg because the ironing board fell on me.

OUCH!

I fell down some steps a few weeks ago and got slush and mud ALL down the back of my coat. To add insult to injury some random guy then stopped me later in the day and told me my coat needed cleaning :-/

Age has nothing to do with it. Sadly, you will have years of face planting to look forward to. May all your face plants heal quickly.
