Just had an interview, and I look so damned smart. XD

I had to do a brief computer test, for which I was allocated half an hour. I completed it in 15 minutes and then there was some running around and sitting in a small room on my own before they actually assembled the people to interview me because they hadn't expected me to finish so fast. So... fingers crossed, eh? They also asked me about Milliways because I mentioned it as evidence of my (coughcough) organisational skills. ¬_¬

I'm back in Cardiff, and last night on the train was a man with an extraordinary sneeze. If forced to describe it I'd have to say it was like a frog getting shot. That amused me for a good half hour, and The Gunslinger amused me for the rest of the 3 hour trip. I'm now a good way into the Drawing of the Three, and I'm hoping I get a job soon so I can buy the one after Wizard and Glass when I get that far.

Even though I've managed to work on some OOMs, I'm already missing RPing. I suspect it is more the prospect of the time that will pass than the time that already has.

Tonight I'm off to watch Smaller's bloke Gneilalike's band, which should be fun - it's been a really long time since I've got sloshed, so I'm more than a little tempted.

Hurrah for a good interview. I am v. v. familiar with the "need a job need a job need a job job job" backbeat that runs through life when you, uh, need a job and makes everything just a little more stressful, even when it isn't screaming in your ear.

I'm sure there was a way to express that that made more sense.
