Sep. 4th, 2005 11:12 pmI'm back safe from London, very tired, unable to swallow (something that developed on the megabus - currently feeling very ill and hoping I feel better before work tomorrow) and utterly apalled by the snippets of hurricane news I'm catching here and there.
I don't have very much, really, but what I do have I'd like to help with. If anyone could link me to any posts that'll tell me what I can do to help, or tell me if anyone's been collecting those kind of links, I'd be very grateful.
I really hope you're all okay.

You can directly donate from that page, or you can get information about who to call in your area so you can donate. We're sending food, water, medical suppilies, and personnel to help.
Salvation Army
You can also donate to the Salvation Army which has been doing food and water drops constantly since last Monday.
Wiki People Finder Volunteer
And that has been floating about livejournal lately. You do coding of information about missing people or people searching for loved ones so a database can be easily searched. People killed it from so much use today, but the site says it should be up and running by tomorrow.
I won't trust any other websites that say they are taking donations. Just FYI. There were all sorts of scams after the tsunimas.
