nnyI'm not at work today due to my complete inability to talk and/or swallow, and also may have been slightly influenced by the somewhat cracktastic phonecall I received at about 4:30am. XD Timezones are overrated.
I had a really good time in London, the discovery of Ka pineapple fizz being one of the high points, but it was just marvellous to have a completely unfettered session of geekdom. Most of the time I curb it (and my friends would probably be horrified to hear that - OMG you can be more geeky?) and it was great to meet people who weren't going to switch off or be embarrassed on my behalf for going into theories about Crowley and Aziraphale, and so on.
I managed to restrain myself as far as buying things went. I came out of Forbidden Planet empty-handed (because they didn't have the Lucifer I want, although the one they did have was OMG HOT...). apoetneedspain could not physically move me. Mmmm, the Teahouse. I was very good and only bought one kind of tea - it wasn't apple, either - but if I'd not been scared of breaking it on the way home I so would have bought me a gigantinormous teapot.
I clearly need to meet LJ people more often.
Apparently I'm going to London in November for a Gneil signing, if anyone's interested...?

Forbidden Planet is an awesome shop. I haven't been there for ages and ages.
