Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] daegaer because I'm only on here while Smaller eats and that willnae take long:

Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.

Aziraphale/Crowley - What is there not to love? They get drunk and have rambling philosophical (and just plain weird) discussions, they are friends Against The Odds, the possibilities for snark are excellent, and the potential backstories are, in fact, infinite. They have been everywhere, and they have done everything. Including each other. Frequently.

Eddie Izzard - Stephen Fry said it best. You watch Billy Connolly, and he's funny. Everyone agrees he's funny. You know you're seeing something good. But you watch Eddie Izzard and you just know that no one could possibly get him the way you do. You can hug to yourself the knowledge that no one understands him quite the way you do. That's how he makes you feel. Mental note: Add Stephen Fry to interests. XD

Graphic novels - I think I started with Johnen Vasquez. My friend Tom lent me Squee, and there was no going back as far as I was concerned. It was a whole new dimension to add onto reading, which I love. A whole other level of story telling and humour. And then one of the guys from Forbidden Planet told me to try Lucifer, by Mike Carey, and the deal was sealed. Graphs own my soul.

Lucifer - how appropriate. XD Lucifer is a spin off from Sandman, which I have yet to read. I read the first book on the recommendation of the guy in the comic book shop, I read it that night, and I trudged down through pouring rain, in my lunch hour, to drip on the mat at Forbidden Planet (yes, I dripped - the guy on the till was laughing at me) to get the second. It's that good.

Pirates - Oh, they're just cool. I have been enamoured with pirates ever since I was a little tyke and had to wear an eyepatch to correct my squint.

Second-hand bookshops - I only tend to buy very special books new, unless there's some kind of deal on. I adore old books, the way they smell and feel, the way the covers aren't the fashionable ones designed to appeal now. Second hand bookshops are dusty and quiet and peaceful, and they make me happy. That's really all there is to it.

Squicky pairings - I'm not actually as fond of these as I used to be, but I went through a definite phase there. It culminated in the creations of [livejournal.com profile] hpsquick100 and the squickfest, which is all the proof that will ever be needed of my lack of sanity. XD

Vertigo comics - home of Lucifer. Creator of Vertigo Visions, a beautiful book of cover art and the like. Just Generally Pretty Damned Cool.

It ended up picking out a lot of similar interests there. So if there're any others on my interest list that you're curious about, go ahead and ask and I'll explain to you why they're there.
