Wearing smart blue jeans matched with a sea-blue, open-cuffed shirt, he leans forward most of the time, refusing to fully relax. It's as if he's got a constant spring of energy bubbling underneath his surface. The rich blue colour of his shirt emphasises his intense eyes and contrasts sharply with his very blonde hair. He strikes me as far taller (6ft 3in) and prettier than he looks on screen, and he immediately charms me with his earthiness (he swears a lot) and very British ways.



It does amuse me, reading through interviews, how many male journalists seem to develop crushes on Paul Bettany...
