I've kind of gone from reasonable coping with workload to sleepless terror pretty much overnight. I need to list off all the things I need to do and start ticking...
I've had to resort to the occasional over-the-counter sleeping aid sometimes, because when I don't sleep because of anxiety, I get even more anxious since I don't do anything well because of sleep deprivation. So, you know. At least with the sleeping aid I do sleep, and more importantly, if I get up to pee, I go back to sleep right away (I don't toss and turn for several hours thinking how omg I haven't yet done this or taken care of that).
And please keep in mind that you have to set your own boundaries in teaching, because you could work 24/7 and STILL not feel like you're doing enough. You need to make time for yourself, but somehow you need to make sure you don't feel guilty about this, okay?
I wish I could help, but that's all I have to offer.
Also, I am exactly at the same point you are, so you can take my comment with a grain of salt :p The only thing I do different is that I take half a sleeping aid pill most nights these days just so that I get enough sleep.
Also, squishy hugs to you. We'll get through this somehow, I promise.
