So... anyone know how much you should be expected to pay for absinthe? See, I found a bottle of 85% stuff, and I am so tempted to get it, but I have no idea if the price is right.

Absinthe will last you a week or two. Wilde lasts forever. *grins*

fifty pounds for absinthe is okay if you're buying the really spiffing stuff, but you can get it cheaper. I mean, if all you want is 85% alcohol, I can get you a bottle of EVERCLEAR...:D

Whatever you pay for it, you have to drink it properly. I usually have 4 parts ice cold water and 1 part absinthe with a teaspoon of sugar AND dribble or dab some runny honey around the top of the glass. Yum.
