Okay, please help, people, because I'm being driven slowly mad. More so than usual.

AIM ain't working for me, and I have no idea what to do.

It constantly signs in and out, and won't let me remain in a chat room for more than about three minutes. I've run a virus scan, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and now I'm flailing madly. Unhelpful, but narratively satisfying. Do I need to clear more memory to run it, or what? I don't think my persuasive powers are elite enough to manage to convince everyone I know to trade to a chat program that works for me, and I can't go without completely. If anyone's got any ideas I'd be hugely grateful.

In other news, there is no other news. I'll get back to you with something tremendously interesting later, even if I have to go out on the streets of Cardiff in my dressing gown and cause havoc, waving a cup of tea and screaming mild profanities.



And, for the record, it sounds like there's a guinea pig in my chimney.

I didn't put it there.

Have you tried using AIM through Trillian? I used to hate Trillian with a passion but was forced to use it and have come to cope with it. It might be worth a try?

There was a mouse in my bathtub yesterday. The cats were playing with it when Justice discovered it, and we managed to help it escape but not actually get it out of the house. Justice fell in love with it. She named it Tod.
