I'm tempted to print out my fic just so I can have the satisfaction of screwing it up into a ball and throwing it in a bin. The delete key just ain't the same.

And I'm not deleting it, either. It's 3,500 words, dude! It's like the longest thing I ever wrote! I will keep it merely for an exhibition on folly. Some bits of it are Alright, too.

I just. Grargh. Miss being able to write effortlessly. Maybe my brain is melting with age.

"Miss being able to write effortlessly." That thought crosses my mind every day or so. I have this fic so totally outlined in my head, and I've managed to start it, but I just can't write the next part. It's necessary, but I can't make it interesting and I can't find the words.
