I have a headache to beat all headaches, and I feel like I'm getting stabbed in the eye. Which is a lot of fun. So, as catharsis:

Crazy oversensitivity/desire to be offended by nothings/flame wars over nothing whatsoever. That whole... thing. On the other side, raging sycophants. They are everywhere.

Journals that are full of angsty posts. I tend to keep my RL issues out of LJ unless I think people need to know where I am, because I can't take reading the stuff all the time.

Rating communities.

The fact that those huge memeposts are always done by people in the HP fandom, and if anyone else were to make one, it probably wouldn't be read.

People fighting over "ur icon sux." Not due to offensive content so much as just OMGICONWAR.

My very biggest peeve is {{~~~~wrITRin liEK theS ~~~}}. Gah. It's worse than no capitalisation or... people... who keep putting ellpises... because... they don't know... any other punctuation... Drives me crazy. I also hate ratings communities, people who write posts that imply that everybody ever is hanging on their every word (and I live in fear I'm one of them, so, uh, please tell me if this is the case?) and people who think that being online makes their being mean to my friends and going "oh, whatevs" actually makes it better.

And OMG I TOTALLY FAIL, I'll send you my # immediately; can't believe I completely forgot.

Uncalled-for rudeness. Just recently, I commented on a friend's journal to congratulate him on getting a library card on his first day in a new town ('cause I'm a library geek). I received a comment back that "libraries are for *expletive* *expletives* like you!" Not necessary. Don't know you, eff off.

I hate people who use no capitals! I have friends who swear that this is the way they communicated in the first days of the internet, (apparently any sort of capitalisation meant you were shouting,) but I don't care!

Biggest thing?

People who seperate their posts into eight zillion different uber-specialized friends locks and then refer to posts made on one lock in posts on another.

I mean, come on. If you don't want people to know the specifics, why do you need to vague about on a totally seperate lock? I think half of them do it just to feel special like they have SO many friends they can lock things eighty ways from sunday.


Also, lack of LJ-cuts in posts with no actual content whatsoever.

Also also, anonymous wank. REEEEEEEEALLY hate that. If I'm pissed off at someone, they are going to damn well know about it. Hell, wank in GENERAL is obnoxious, especially when it's over something that doesn't actually affect you remotely. But really, wank.
