I was just coming back from Mrs Spike's (who I shall have to re-nickname, since she won't be Mrs Spike for all that much longer) and I was sat behind a girl who spent literally the entire twenty minute train journey looking in the mirror. I don't understand how this is a... I want to say 'valid' or 'worthwhile' activity, but that's absolutely my inner prejudices coming to play. I don't understand how this is in any way an activity that has the ability to absorb a person for that amount of time. Give me five minutes, and I'm ready to go. That's how I work. I don't want to spend that long looking in a mirror, because then I tend to start examining myself for flaws, find too many, and discourage myself from going out at all.

Which is pretty much my reasoning for never editing my fics. So maybe it's just a me thing.

Milady did a reading for me, also, which brought up a lot of things I've been thinking about, much practical advice which I'll endeavour to work on. I'm feeling peaceful, for the first time in a while, so. Yeah. Much love to her. I'm in a jumper which smells of her house, now, because she wouldn't let me travel home in only the tweed - it's sad how tempted I am to sleep in it.

*grins* She also lent me a book. Wes Janson rocks. XD
