On a day like this, nothing is wasted
Jan. 30th, 2010 02:53 pmJust took a slightly needless bus trip, forgetting that the post office collections place closes midday on a Saturday, and strolled in the sunshine grinning at my stupidity. Stopped off at the market on the way back: grapes and bananas and an onion and some mushrooms and some sweet potatoes and a butternut squash, all for £3.20. I love markets.
I also bought myself a camera for £3.50 from a charity shop; I was concerned for a moment in Boots, thought they didn't even do film any more, but they were lurking away in a corner so they wouldn't taint the shiny and the new. Decided to do something I caught sight of while researching my photo meme this morning: 365 project, in which you take a picture of yourself every day for a year. Awesome way of documenting 2010, I think, and maybe it'll prompt me to do more that is awesome.
Now for burning more NCIS to DVD, and babying my sore throat and aching head. I'll be productive later, honest. :D
