Have just been fed samosas and egg fried rice by lovely flatmates, which has made up for what was, frankly, a quite incredibly shit day. It didn't quite make up for the lack of nap, which was sorely needed, but I'm waking up gradually.

We're off to Twisted By Design tonight, a weird eclectic indie night at which the DJ provides you with a piece of paper to write as many songs and artists as you can think of; hopefully he'll play a couple of my choices. Get there early enough and you have your pick, and happily his taste has many points in common with mine, so all is well. I don't know if they serve tea there, but no doubt I shall manage on coke for the night.

Got another christmas present sorted and sent today. At this rate I might have sent something to everyone I mean to by... next Christmas!
