Crap crap crap. Please help?

I was just writing a very very long response to an email in microsoft word. I stupidly didn't save it as I was going along, and then my computer froze and had to be restarted. I am quite enormously pissed off.

I don't suppose there's anyway it might have been stored somewhere random where I can recover it? Because I don't know if I can do this again.

I don't know, but I think the default on Word is to autosave every five minutes, so it might not be so bad...

Restart Word (not open a new document, just start Word) It should have autosaved.
