Not coping well, this term. I'm just so tired all the time and I'm not eating enough and there are not enough hours in the day to get enough done. I don't know how teachers do this, certainly not when they're getting in on time and going home on time. I'm averaging a 10 hour work day, with an added hour for commute, and by 'work day' I mean being physically in work. I come home and do more. And I'm still way behind, disorganised, not on top of things. It's so ridiculous because for the most part I'm good at the teaching thing. I get kids excited about reading and shit, y'know? I just suck at the non-teaching part of teaching, and unfortunately that seems to gain greater importance as the years go by. I'm kind of already obsolete...

Also I am looking for a flat. And I don't even want to talk about that.

The important parts, you're great at - and that is what is important.

Have you talked to your line manager for advice?

If you don't eat properly that will make you more exhausted. You are working so hard and you are probably burning way more calories than you think. Eat more. I know it takes time you don't feel you have, but you will work slower if you're not feeding your body properly.

You'll get there, I swear. The hardest bit to learn is the bit you're already doing well; everything else will come with practise and experience. *hugs so hard*
