Oh man, things with big canon just depress me. I like catching things from somewhere near the beginning, and I still manage to miss everything. Right now I'm hoping my parents will invest in the second season of Green Wing as soon as possible.
Me too, really. I watched the first series of SG-1 when it started, then realised last summer I quite liked that show and wanted to catch up ... but have had little motivation upon realising I'd have to find nine seasons. Hence why I only started the other day.
Also, context being shapeshifters on base:

I want, is the thing. I want so much canon, and I have no friends in the vicinity to lend. I need nearby geek friends so I can SHARE these things, but right now I can't even afford the MEGABUS. And it's a POUND!
