I never actually knew that egg rolls were spring rolls. I had always wondered.

And I feel it's somehow wrong and immoral that my love for Hugh Laurie just increased ridiculously because I have learned that he has, in fact, castrated a sheep.

no way! I did work experience with the vets and saw thirteen castrations in one day! THIRTEEN! was one of the best days ever :D if only because it provided me with endless ammunition to taunt the boys at school with

That's way more interesting than mine - I did work experience in an office in Ocean Village. XP

and.... I think I can still remember how it was done (well maybe at least one type... did you know there are different ways to castrate things?!)... see I did want to be a vet at one point until I realised i didn't like the rain and that standing with one's arm up a cow's bottom is not even remotely glamorous and in fact warm and shitty :D

I went through a very small phase of wanting to be a vet when I was about 5. I also wanted to be a fireman, and a stunt person. I really wanted to be a stunt driver, for some reason.

I was an odd child. XD

heh, my sister wanted to be a "filmstar-librarian" in that she would apparently be a film star and then a librarian when she wasn't being in films. Now, she was an odd child :)

Incidentally, she is training to be a jockey in newmarket :S

Egg rolls are a bit different from spring rolls. I forget how. I think egg rolls sometimes have meat, and spring rolls never do. I could be wrong. >.>

Man, you beat me to it.

Egg rolls have a slightly thicker wrapper and contain predominantly meat. Spring rolls are veggie.

In this country, spring rolls is spring rolls. You get veggie and non-veggie, but they're all spring rolls. :D

OHMIGOD DO NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT EGGS!

Your country had unbelievably freaky eggs. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THEY ARE NATURALLY THAT WHITE! Seriously! I mean, I thought white eggs were a conceit of animators but NO! They are seriously that white in your country! It's TERRIFYING!

:O

We have brown ones, too! But I think they're more expensive. Or less?? I forget.

How strange that I've never seen the creepy sick little devil faces in my eggs! *checks fridge, cautiously*

And yes, I know it's odd to refrigerate them. Just let me cling to my illusory defenses against salmonella, okay? XD

Castrating sheep is easy, little green rubber band, stretched over the offending parts, then left there to let the testicles wither, die and fall off. See why your mom told you not to wrap the rubber band around your finger...
