I have never read anything by Cassie Claire.

And I'm not particularly bothered.

I tried.

I gave up a few paragraphs in.

*shrugs*

I don't even know who Cassie Claire is.

*puts hand up* I did. I really enjoyed spotting the plagiarised bits because I thought they were part of the joke.

I did... then sort of drifted out of fandom and lost interest.

My little thirteen-year-old self quite liked them, for what they were.

I feel I have grown as a person since then.

I've read all her stuff and really really enjoyed it - her NC-17 fics were actually the best of what she wrote and they are fantastic. I think that is what her original novels are going to be like. If you are going to read anything of hers, that is what I would suggest.

I'm just so tired of all the wank this summer, all the rehashing of old old news. NO MORE WANK, DAMMIT.

I read "Draco Dormiens" when it first came out and thought it was...ehn. So-so. The OMG BEST THING EVAR following she's got still kind of baffles me.

*shrugs along with everyone else*

The Very Secret Diaries from Fellowship of the Ring are pretty damn entertaining.

Her longer stuff...is like the War and Peace of fanfiction.
I just kind of gave up.

I've read the Very Secret Diaries, but none of her HP stuff.

In fact, I am out of the fandom loop enough that I didn't even know she was a BNF, or that any of this wank ad ever happened, until it started getting rehashed this summer.

:D?

I got up to about halfway through th third one. It wasn't bad, I just didn't feel any burning need to find it again when I lost the link. I read Draco Dormiens years ago, I only just heard of the whole plagiarism fiasco last week. Huh.
