I fall in love with shoes. Clothes I am mostly indifferent too, except for my tweed jacket and the prospect of a tweed skirt, but shoes are just... so happifying. :D

I am the other way around!

Consequently, I have no smart shoes. At all. It is occasionally problematic.

I will buy some tomorrow but for right now I have no idea what to do. Perhaps I will make toast, or something. Nyrgh.

Alternatively, keep your tongue between your teeth. That way, the occasional OW will make you consciously unclench your jaw.

Shoooes!

Make yourself yawn a lot, stretch a lot (not just your jaw), get some exercise, eat?

You bought them! *salivates* Are any of us going to see you IN THEM at any point soon? :P

[Massage your jaw near your ears. Works when you've had too much strychnine. I don't know about normal jaw-grinding]

I'm having the same problem now that my braces are gone.
Uh...with the teeth grinding, not with the purchase of cute shoes.

Though, those shoes are super cute.

You should be able to find a cheap-o mouth guard at the drugstore. Something you boil and then bite down on. Can be helpful for when you're sleeping.

Chew gum?

XP try relaxing your jaw more. I know it's kind of hard to do in public cos the mouth-hanging-open-catching-flies look isn't in right now, but whenever you have a spare mometn and nobody's watching. And do those neck-rolly exercises. A tight neck often makes your jaw clamp.

wow those are sexy librarian shoes :D

I used to chew my jaw in my sleep. It became rather painful. In the end I had to have some sort of thing to go over my teeth while I slept but it made me gag so I "accidentally" lost it :D

The worst part was that while I was visiting the jaw surgeon consultant thingybobby guy he said "you are at a time in you life now where you might find yourself in situations where your jaw may be open for long perionds of time... I would avoid doing things like that if I were you."

cringe cringe cringe, my parents were there and I was about 14 :S
