HA!

I've lost lotta weight since America, and I'm now officially 'overweight' as opposed to 'obese' on the BMI scale.

I know that this is still not, like, good, and that I have a ways to go and all, but hey. Small victories.

*shakes slightly diminished booty*

Pineapple juice attempted to kill me this morning. I still feel faintly rotten. FOR GREAT YAYXORS.

Plan for the day is to tidy my room. This is a procrastination technique, and I know it is a procrastination technique, and if I do it now maybe I can get started on the whole A-level thing in more deliberate and organised a fashion. I have yet to organise my January exams, and I really have to get onto that soon.

I'm working three days next week, being casually paid on my usual hourly rate of £6.66.

Which is faintly ominous.

Ah well. I'm a tad nervous, but I'm sure it'll work out.

Hey, even small improvements are a step in the right direction. :)

Hope you feel better soon.

You just can't trust those pineapples, man. They'll turn on you like *that*.

Hi,it's four in the morning and I haven't slept, nor do I plan to.

Crafty little buggers. They're as bad as pears.

I totally support this plan.

...Pears?

Something tells me I don't want to know.

(sleep deprivation leads to Photoshop productivity. And finding pictures of Hugh Laurie naked, but that's ANOTHER STORY ENTIRELY.)

See, I think I don't have the emotional maturity to see people naked. Hugh Laurie should come equipped with clothes at all times.

I only make exceptions for Paul Bettany because he's naked often enough for it to be familiar...

Muahah.

Generally I agree. Which is why I didn't go looking for these. I found them without even trying. Which is slightly disturbing.

Yes, we do. :D

On a (thankfully) non-nudity-involving note, I can't wait for this movie. (http://www.peggster.net/pegg/gallery/view.php?gid=48&phid=5)

GOD, YES. SO MUCH YES.

And incidentally, again with the icon adoration. I love Tim and Daisy SO MUCH, and I was listening to the end-of-series happy music earlier and grinning ridiculously.

Ohhh yes. They're my platonic OTP. :D

And Spaced has the BEST ENDING EVER, and as much as I adore the deleted scene (http://pics.livejournal.com/gypsyjr/gallery/00024pfw) from the final episode, I wouldn't change a second of it.

Yes. It'll be fiiiiiine. *kicks August back under table*

Congratulations on kicking the BMI into submission, also! Next opponent: pineapple juice. Scourge of the galaxy. >:[

Yay! Though I think the BMI is a load of crap anyway, but good for you!

Okay, stupid American here. I'm not sure I understand exactly how A-levels work. Is it a part of university or an extra bit? Help!

A levels come before uni. YOu have GCSE at 16 (general certificate of secondary education) and then A levels at 18. A levels are not compulsory so some people drop out after GCSE. Not everyone who does A levels goes on to uni, but you can't go to uni without usually, 3 A levels (there are some exceptions, depending on where you want to go and what you want to do). A levels should generally be in relevant subjects to a degree course, but they don't have to be. For example you don't need to do A level law to do a law degree, but, I think English and History are expected (use the same set of skills as required in law). For my degree (chemistry) you have to do an A level in chemistry, as well as one other science/maths subject. hope this helps?
