Just slept... not wise, it would appear. So, here's my dream-
* * *
I climb through a window, and I know that a girl (that I don't know) is climbing through behind me. It's a sash window, and the wind rattles it just as she's climbing through- it plummets, and slices half her face off. She bleeds to death.
Understandably, her parents are pissed at me. They slice around my left forearm, then up the centre of the inside to the wrist- my hand still has skin on, but almost down to the elbow the skin is flapping free. Then her family tell me they're going to cut off my right hand, but will first cut the fingers off so it'll hurt more. They try to make me decide whether they should saw them off, or use gradually increasing pressure with a big butcher knife.
* * *
Disturbing, no? I wonder what it says about me. The strangest thing about it was that my left hand didn't hurt, and that I accepted their decision to cut off my right hand like it was entirely normal. I had kind of an adrenaline rush at being forced to make the decision, though. I'm worried. And I don't think I'll be wearing any bracelets in a while.
*whimpers in the corner*
