I have been sent home from work because very dizzy cough and coldy. Fell asleep in study support area, heh. I hate hate hate taking time off, especially with how much I love my job right now, but it was helping a student who can cope alone so it'll be okay. I just worry about being ill too often - I didn't want to take today off because what happens when I get worse and I have to take time off? Fret fret fret.

I'm gonna go nap now I think.

ETA: And I just got yelled at for allowing myself to be sent home. Mahvellous. I'm just gonna stay up here in my room all day, I think.

*twitches*

:[ You will not get worse. I decree it.

And dude, sending home from work due to a nasty cold-like illness - from a school, no less - is a good idea on their part. By the end of the week, everyone could have a version of it. I don't think 'working through it' would have been smart, even if you hadn't felt so miserable.

Am sorry you do, though.

Thanks, sweetheart. Mum's just tired after work and has yelled at me for being sent home, for not being able to go for a blood test, and for coughing. I suspect she'll be less unreasonable after nappage. XD

How you doin', too?

*hugs*

Am in agreement with Holly - whatever about Work Ethics and stiff upper lips and all, keeping someone with a nasty cough at work in an environment like a school makes Carson Beckett cry look disappointedly at you cry.
