Oct. 25th, 2006 10:07 pmI'm alive! And back! And home! And spilling over with story ideas, which I'll have forgotten by the morning but right now I feel all creative.
I was hoping to be around tonight but I woke up this morning feeling as though something in my brain had popped, and that feeling has persisted throughout the day; I'm afraid I was quite grumptastic at
soupytwist, poor love. On top of that I've been in transit for over five hours and my stomach is starting to make itself known (I'm such good company - spent much of last night curled up on
soupytwist's bed clutching Carson the big gay Scots-Canadian moose and hurting) and right now all I can imagine doing is falling asleep.
Read some of Fragile Things on the train, and I do so love Neil Gaiman. He's one of us. You read his introductions and he's so patently crossed out so much - "This story is based on my friend Tori Amos'DUDE! I KNOW TORI AMOS! HOW MUCH DO I FUCKING ROCK! GEEEEEEEKSQUEEEEE!!! album..."
Should anyone want me, I will be around ALL DAY tomorrow, and all reasonable requests will be accepted for the rest of the week. Half term, baby, yeah.
Okay, headache. Screen. Pulsing. Bed now.
