nnyMostly this meme is teaching me I don't know your fandoms half so well as I thought I did.

I'm utterly convinced that Brian has been in love with Wensley for, like, ever, and Wensley's utterly self-conscious about the fact that Brian's taller and cuter and more popular than him. If Brian ever realised that Wensley didn't know how much he loved him, I think it'd just totally blow his mind and then he'd wrestle him to the floor and sit on him until Wens stopped being such a twat. Incidentally I think they're the most potentially stable of all potential relationships.
War/Famine is something I've been asked to write once or twice and is a fascinating dynamic, and leads to oddness and poetry, so I suppose it's all good. I can see it, I don't particularly 'ship it.
I can see Pepper/War more easily than I can see Pepper/Adam, really, because I don't think Adam would be willing to give it all up for her, and I think that would be necessary for Pepper. I think she would need to be on an equal footing with someone she was in a long term relationship with, and that could never happen with Adam. War, on the other hand... there would be hot sex. Yup.
Newt and Anathema are cute. I'm not hugely interested in their relationship.
The Them have the best friendship dynamic ever. I adore the way that Pterry writes kids - have you ever read the Johnny Maxwell books? Just utterly, utterly frabjous, and makes me long for a childhood I never had.

Arthur and Fenchurch on the other hand is really quite sweet and lovely, and Arthur deserved it. It's about time something went right for the poor bastard. I deny the existence of Mostly Harmless, of course.

Well, there's John (http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/thumb/0/0f/250px-Stargate_John_Sheppard.jpg), who's really quite pretty but has a lot less chemistry than you'd think with the majority of the other characters. He's adorably bemused by female contact, and the only one he really seems to get is Rodney. (http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/thumb/c/c3/250px-Stargate_atlantis_rodney_mckay1.jpg) They are the oddest of odd couples but it's quite unbelievable how subtexty their relationship is. Rodney and John bitch at each other and have messy breakups and are quite clearly deeply in love. They are my OTP.
However, I will make exceptions. Rodney/Radek Zelenka (http://www.ancientobsessions.com/sitebuilder/images/McKayZelenka-247x158.jpg) also works for me; they're both hugely intelligent and geeky, finish each others' sentences, and one fic described them as 'grouchy guinea pigs' together, which is just adorable and incredibly right. Radek is Czech and always seems to be wary of military, as well as being careful about what he says - he tends to wait to work out a potential reaction before he says anything... except with Rodney. And exposure to Rodney has made him come out of his shell with other people over time, too. It's lovely. :D
Oh, and Rodney/Carson is quite cute, too, but not quite so based in reality, apart from that one kiss (http://www.laurahughes.com/photos/icons/rodney-beckett-kiss.jpg) that one time. David Hewlett/Paul McGillion on the other time... Well.
Essentially, it's the John-Rodney show. But recently there's been a little more in terms of character development and team moments and suchlike, and that's lovely and I hope there's more.
(Oh, and also? Parrish/Lorne. Who are on screen together ONCE for about FIVE MINUTES and yet are clearly in love. It's ace.)
