nnyThis meme is never particularly successful but I always do it anyway - I think I'd like to pretend I'm less enormously voluble than I actually am.
Is there anything that you want to know about me? And how I work? Apart from the fact that I am a scarily enthusiastic LSA who is entirely too eager about jumping on fandom bandwagons?

I've been in a consistently dreadful mood for a while, now, and I really can't work out what it is. I think it might be something related to the fact that I'm on the pill for the first time, actually - I'm gonna check over my journal and see when it started. Today I'm... mostly serene, though; vaguely pissed off at the fellow LSAs who decided to skip lessons today, if only because I like them all and don't want them to get caught for doing so so often. I'm waiting impatiently to see if my uni tutor will provide a reference for me, 'cos if she says no I have no idea who to turn to save for begging my f-list. I'm reading Temeraire: Throne of Jade and just enjoying it ridiculous amounts, although the amount of OMG THEYARESOINLOVE moments are really worrying me. Life is okay, and I have yet to yell at anyone or burst into tears today, so maybe I'm sorting.
If I remain reasonably scarce over the next few days, though, it's only to save your f-list the whining. ;)

There's no linguistic sleight of hand or post-modernist posturing, just (hopefully) well told stories with endings that aren't going to make you lose faith in all humanity, generally - I remember being so betrayed when I read adult books and realised that sometimes things didn't end okay. Things're allowed to be shiny in kids fic, too, and things don't need ridiculously convoluted bend-over-backwards explanations. Sometimes it's okay just to find an angel in your shed.
Also... Johnny Maxwell books. Kids ask the questions that we're trained not to, look at the world in a completely different way, and are generally far more open to things, and children's lit kinda makes me relive that a little, I guess.
(These are my hypnotisey 'that totally made sense' eyes.)
