THOUGHTS ON WATCHING SG:A 3x12 - Echoes
Oh wow, previously is all Grace Under Pressure clips! That has to be one of my favourite episodes of all time, partly for the Rodney Whumpage, partly for the Zelenka (oh how I love Zelenka) and partly for the COMPLETE SUPPORT FOR OT3ness!

...ZELENKA CAMPING! BWEE! Zelenka bouncing in his chair. Oh, there are no words for the adorable.
...oh god. God, I never thought I'd see support for the Zelenka/Ronon pairing. *giggles*
RONON SNORING IS SO CUTE! SO, SO CUTE!
Never has it been clearer that Ronon and Teyla are so doing it. And I do love stick fighting scenes. I have yet to see one that beats the episode where John's turning into a bug for sheer HOTNESS value, but damn I wanna see Rodney get beat down. XD
Oh, okay. See, that burned dead guy made me jump. O.O
Heeeeeeeee balcony and John teasing Rodney and the little quirk of a grin when he's quite clearly thinking about how cute Rodney is when he's not being an asshole. (Also when he is being an asshole, of course, just not in this particular instant.)
:O ATLANTIS HAS GIANT LOBSTROSITIES! (And for the record, my crush on Rodney increases with every episode. It's worrying.) Also? Rodney is clearly trying to get rid of Elizabeth, John looks slightly put out by his obviousness, and Rodney babbles to cover. I love how obvious it is that they're doing it. I also love how clearly John thinks Rodney's cute, still. OMG HE'S NAMED IT SAM! OH MY GOD HAHAHAHAHAHA POOR JOHN! He so jealous.
...HA sometimes I so love Elizabeth. BWAH. "Alright then boys, dabble away." She knows. She so knows. And John's still grinning.
AHAHAHAHAHAHA JOHN WANTS TO EAT SAM! HE SO ENORMOUSLY JEALOUS!
...wow. Is that Kate? Wow. I approve of the red hair, definitely.
Okay, so the fact that a) John is indulging Rodney in investigations of 'Sam' and b) Rodney is willing to go underwater in a jumper again (provided he's with John) makes me unreasonably happy. :D

Ooooh, the whale song is making everyone crazy. Please tell me they're not going to strand Rodney underwater again, that would just be CRUEL.

*eyebrows* Okay. That was a bit of a bizarre explanation, as explanations go. I'm not sure I'm entirely on board with this... it's a bit kind of PotW (that'd be Peril of the Week) and kinda by numbers, but I'm willing to go with it. I'm willing to go with a lot, if it means more Rodney. Especially if he gets whumped. :D?

...oh wow, okay, so the PotW is actually getting pretty fucking terrifying now. I hate how SG:A does this to me, I really do. I mean, I'm fine with Wraith, and crazy natives, and stuff like that. It's when it starts on the natural disasters - super volcanoes, sunwhatevers, all that crap that I get worried. Y'know, stuff that could actually happen, no matter how unlikely. Bloody Inferno, in conjunction with Bill Bryson, scared me shitless. I wish I knew more about science so I could watch this from a comfortable position of scoff. :/
Oh, John has to be the hero. :(
JOHN IS A SUICIDAL MANIAC! And I love him. And I want Rodney to draw stick figures like Giles does. I want Rodney and Giles to play pictionary. I'm in a happy happy crossover world all my own.

See, every time I know they're going to win. It's hardly hard to work out - if it's not a mid-season or season-finale, they're going to win. And yet still I get this ridiculous smile when they do.

Aaaaw, Ronon and Teyla have their moment of sappy not!romantic sweetness, and John and Rodney have theirs.
And in conclusion, I love this show. :D

Date: 2006-11-29 07:28 am (UTC)Ronon just looks so young. Like a teenage boy with his first crush, it's absolutely adorable. And Teyla's all undulgent, and still willing to smack the crap out of him with sticks, which is the foundation of every healthy relationship in my opinion.
John and Rodney are unbelievable in this episode. John actually seems to be relaxing a bit - he's been kinda harsher to Rodney ever since Trinity, but this episode I only noticed him snapping about once, which makes me so very happy. :D And the affectionate smirks more than made up for it.
The Meredith bit just... dude. YET AGAIN, FANON IS JUSTIFIED! Of course he'd mock Rodney for that! Hehehehehe.
