Dec. 2nd, 2006 06:08 pmI managed to give myself a hangover today without drinking a drop.
That was kind of the problem, actually. See, I don't quite seem to get thirsty the way normal people do. I sort of managed to entirely forget to consume anything liquid, yesterday, which led to me waking up at 6am with the most phenomenal headache known to man. It was fun! It was also quite possibly the lamest thing I have ever done in my life ever, so I think I should win some sort of lesser Darwin award for that. :D
I've not been talking the last few days not through any sort of 'busyness' or 'life', more's the pity. It was more a case of nothing much happening save for being sore, and I don't like the whiner I've been made through being ill. Other than that and a couple of students embarking on a campaign to trap me into racist remarks (no, it's not gonna happen, yes, it is bloody annoying) there's really not all that much happening in my life.
Next weekend, though, I'm going out to a metal club for my birthday, which'll be distinctly odd and I imagine rather fun, the weekend after that I'm going up to London to annoy any number of people and watch Swan Lake, and the week after that, on the Tuesday, in fact, I break up from work for Christmas. Then there's Cardiff, food, and festive fun times. I'm pretty glad I'm feeding my friend's cats over the Christmas holiday, really, because my house is too small for my family and an escape route is going to be a good thing.
I think my computer might be starting to die. Things are taking longer and flickering oddly and it makes very odd noises. I will probably buy a new one next month, so I'm crossing my fingers that this one'll last that long.
And now I'm going to go drink more water. Just in case. The headache still hasn't gone. XD
