How the hell do I use "forfeiture" in a sentence?

=)

EDIT: likewise floccinaucinihilipilification.

You asked for the words... *giggle*

You might use it in the sense of something having already taken place - a specific example of forfeiture, for example. (Okay, not terribly helpful, but it's after midnight here and I have a lot of stories still to archive. *g*)

As part of the forfeiture of privileges in this particular detention, Harry was obliged to remain in the potions classroom during the Hogsmeade weekend, and spit polish Snape's cock chair.

Sorry about that, I slipped. ;-)

Ace Ventura: the cartoon.

I'm thinking of adopting it as my sig line... =)

I had plans to use "floccinaucinihilipilification" in my story. Damn. :-(

I think I'll go ahead and use it, anyway...

It's a word that suffers from shameless neglect. It should be used more!

The fact that there are two people in this Fest who are voluntarily using this word quietly horrifies me.

If it hadn't been for "sesquipedalian" I wouldn't have needed it.

Also, you forget that I am the offspring of two English teachers. *g*

I first 'met' "floccinaucinihilipilification" when I was about fifteen. And yes, you can blame my parents.

I first met it two hours and twenty minutes ago. And already I can use it in a sentence!

*Does self satisfied boogie.*

(Provided, that is, that I used it correctly... Did I? Huh? Huh?)
