Off work again today. Had bi-monthly sobbing fit all over my mother last night. Will probably be spending most of the day in bed watching DVDs I've seen too many times because going downstairs to get fresh ones might kill me.

I would appreciate distractions, if anyone's around with links. :D

Good morning from North Am! Now that we're waking up, perhaps we can offer distractions for your afternoon ... ;]

First, there's that wonderful time-waster called YouTube! (http://www.youtube.com) Main page has featured videos, then each one has links to others -- it's sometimes a very stream-of-conciousness sort of thing ...

The other thing I'll heartily recommend to you is itom_songs. My old friend Tom Smith is a filker of extraordinary scope and talent, able to write songs instantly (literally, I've seen him do it) on any topic at all. His "iTom" project has him writing and recording a new song for upload each and every week -- he's been uploading at that pace for almost six months so far ... Have a listen, at very least it'll amuse. ;D
