Stolen from beeej because I'm in the mood for distracty and this one looks like fun.

And okay, so I totally have crossings-out all over the place, but I swear I'll finalise my list before I start answering questions. Honest.

I've made a list of 10 characters and assigned them all numbers. Ask me questions about them ("Is 3 human?" "Who's smarter, 4 or 5?" "What would 2 and 7 do if they discovered buried treasure?") and I'll answer. Your mission is to discover which character is which.
Comments are screened for now. As I start answering questions, I'll unscreen the questions and the answers, but not peoples' guesses. So try to keep your guesses and questions apart as much as possible. I'll post when people have answered ones, but not what the answers are. This should be fun, ask away!

#7 has, yes. Definitely the first, but I wouldn't imagine the second (so far as I recall); neither would be a decision ever taken lightly.

#1 is very in touch with physical feelings (and loud about them), but not needs so much. Emotionally - they'll surprise you. You'd think them to be entirely oblivious, most of the time.

#4 would buy a 16th century Shakespeare folio. It's possible it wasn't worth quite so much, of course, but the poor dear selling was rather in need of the money.

#7 gave them the money because such things don't mean as much - they'd find things that can be traded far more useful.
(And they probably got the money from #1 somehow.)

#2 is definitely more cynical, and it's well earned. #10 has some innocence about them, still, although they probably don't have to. If they let themself think about it.

Not so much a pet peeve, but. If anyone touches their... hmm. Coworker? or threatens their relationship, #9 will sacrifice any mission, task or diplomatic discussions in order to snatch said coworker away jealously and nuzzle them in a reassuring manner.
