Apr. 17th, 2007 10:35 pmOh glee!
I'd heard Hugh Laurie had written The Gun Seller merely to prove to himself that he could. Can't remember where I heard it, but it really didn't bode well for the possibility of sequels, except there's going to be one in September.
Excellent. I shall have to buy a replacement copy before then.
(I have this dreadful habit of lending things out and never getting them back. It's alright, since I rarely remember, and have one or two items belonging to people I've lost contact with so it's all balance of a sort. It just occasionally gets frustrating when I can't remember who has what and buy another copy only to have the first returned.
*laughs*)
I'm learning a lot from various fandom meta posts. Not just about fandom and writing, but about how I interact/should interact with the world and such. I'm in awe at the clarity with which some people can think and organise their thoughts; it's a skill I'd like to develop, but until I can hold my own in discussion with anyone I know I shan't be making thinky posts.
Unless The Sociology of Religion pins me down and makes me its bitch, of course.
