I was all I HAVE LOST MY MOJO! WOE AND INDEED FLAIL! I haven't written anything on the ridiculous story I'm writing for days and I was feeling all guilty and avoiding it and being silly, and then liz666 sent me a lovely email about it and muffinbutt reassured me and I've written 1004 words on it. And I know that that's a ridiculously small amount but that is the length of most of my fics.

It's 8,392 words long and there's still so much to go, and I'm stupidly proud of it and you are all going to hate me and ostracize me when you read it because the concept is so dreadful.

But hey, y'know, my ostracizification is pretty much guaranteed at some point anyway, if not for this then for the one about bowels, so I'm surprisingly cheery about it.

*goes back to writing*

ETA: I need someone to come bitchslap me every time I slip into present tense, though, my god.

You are silly. It is awesome, concept and all.

But then, look what I myself am contemplating. =))

Also: re: present tense. Don't worry too hard about these things. I will catch it in my great net of red ink on a final grammar read through if nothing else, so relax ok? At this point it's a matter of just getting the story out, I think.

I have present tense-itis. It is insidious. Ji had to whack me on it when we were doing drabble-tags for Caleb. BUT THEY WERE TAGS! *sniffle* It is not so easy for me to wave away when they're in Word documents, but bah. Very easy to do.
