...the previous night he and McKay had watched Star Wars simultaneously, providing commentary and (in John’s case) lightsaber noises. For the first half hour McKay had been lagging by about thirty seconds and had yelled down the phone at John every time he’d spoken along with the dialogue of the film, and then he had made him restart and synchronise watches and DVD players; by the time he’d got to bed the sun had already been on its way up.

Spent an hour comforting a crying student earlier today. My boss reckons part of her distress is that I'm leaving next friday, which is simultaneously faintly flattering and making me feel kinda shitty. Wah. Hate it when people tell me stuff I can do nothing about, y'know?

I currently have a malfunctioning voice, an incredibly sore throat and a cough that keeps giving me a headache. Someone come look after me? I need a tea bitch.
