Date: 2007-05-20 01:49 pm (UTC)2) Killick once saved Jack's life, and he has an almost familial sense of loyalty to the man. He'll put up with far more from him than from any other member of the crew, often including Stephen.
3) Jack knows far more about the natural world than he'd ever admit, and his flailing about vampires is merely to see Stephen's exasperated face, which is one of his favourites.

Date: 2007-05-20 05:41 pm (UTC)I love this story so much. Haven't seen any vampires yet, though - I'm looking forward to that. Stephen is hilarious. Like, exhaling tea out the nose funny.
And now I must go in search of M&C fic. It has become a physical need. *sigh*
